Tower Of Power Inglewood Concert reviews
All acts were outstanding!!
In 1984, my best friend and I connected through the Tower Of Power fan club during high school. Despite living in LA and TX, we have seen George numerous times. The night before the concert, we caught "Ace in the Hole" (George's band) at a Houston club, where the three fiddles were fantastic! [Ronnie, Benny, Rick, and Mike, love you!]
George chose excellent opening acts, including the very talented Julianne Hough, who has a promising career ahead. Blake Shelton's comedic routine and superb voice make for a great show. Sugarland is AMAZING, with Jennifer's energy and voice standing out. The chemistry between Jennifer and Christian on stage is WOW! Her interaction with the audience lets her personality shine. A GREAT SHOW, one of the best I've seen. Also, loved the gesture of giving an autographed guitar to a young fan.
I have seen George perform numerous times. My first concert was in Jr High when my Mom got us tickets to see him at the Huntsville Prison Rodeo. I could watch George a million more times. He only gets better with age, both in looks and his beautiful, strong voice. LOVE YOU GEORGE!
